[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Oh Phuket how I love you and I only touched the surface of your beauty.

Being from Vancouver, BC Canada I seek sun and sand any chance I get and last month I chased the sun all the way to Phuket, Thailand.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1276″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

If you find yourself in that paradise, here are few of my favorites to check out:

EAT:  Holy Spice!  Well I learned that “easy on the spice” means nothing.  Although by the end of my 5 days there I was getting used to it and appreciated the spice and what I’d hoped it was doing for my immune system.

Palm Seaside This restaurant is obvs on the beach (Bang Tao Beach ) and the vibe is absolutely fantastic complete with a DJ for that extra chill.  The menu is extensive all on the IPAD and every dish looked amazing.  I must have looked at the menu for 30 minutes at least.  Culinary treat for sure.  Palm Seaside will not disappoint.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1288″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Catch Beach Club of course again seaside and I opted for their seafood ceviche but they have an a la carte style dining with succulent fresh Mediterranean dishes, pizzas and Asian favourites.  Great spot day or night.  It’s a scene for sure.  $$$[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1289″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bua Restaurant now this is your local hot spot! unless you know someone who knows about this place, you may not find or get a chance to try it.  Luckily I got the inside scoop and had the best steamed whole fish in my entire life, again it’s up to you about spices but I opted for lemon and sauce on the side.  Fresh coconuts to drink and it’s as local as it gets. Just an experience of mouth watering satisfaction. $$[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1295″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SLEEP:  Twin Palms Phuket  I was in compete awe of this stylish and contemporary tropical resort.  It was just a 2 min walk to the beach and even had a butler service for the guests of the resort.  It was relaxing, quiet and the customer service was next to none.  There are 4 beaches available to guests at no charge,  Surin Beach, Catch Beach Club, HQ Beach Lounge and Palm Seaside. Complimentary shuttles to each spot daily from 9am – LATE.  The Food here is also to die for.  And the coffees with the twin palms in foam on top, really!? how perfect is that?  Top notch spot, check it out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1294″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SEE:  Well as I mentioned I just touched the surface of it’s beauty but we did rent a yacht though the Twin Palms and toured through Phang Nga Bay over to James Bond Island, Floating Island, Hidden Caves (Thai Chang) complete with thousands of bats, and took the tender for lunch at the Six Senses Yao Noi , another stunning resort!
